Droid de Lafayette 2100

Description

For many, inspiration can be garnered through optimistic words, positive experiences, and supportive family and friends. However, my motivation to craft a futuristic spaceship for NASA’s “Future Flight” contest was solely from my BiC multi-colored triangular highlighter. Mostly made of SPRAY PAINT my painting portrays a space-touring vessel of the year 2100. The “Droid de Lafayette,” a future-traveling museum in space, escorts wealthy individuals to observe newfound planets and galaxies. Composed of the innovative and recently discovered thick metal, Reem, the outer shell is virtually indestructible. Additionally, equipped with the latest computer technology—smarter than the combination of all mankind—the vessel is the most secure and savvy piece of spacecraft material ever invented. It is managed by 25 astronauts, 50 crew members, and can hold up to 150 individuals, that is, at the astounding price of $3 million a ticket. All money raised from the revenue of sold tickets supports NASA’s future galactic endeavors. Furthermore, the ship travels at light speed in its 10-day flight, while maintaining only the most superior quality in aerospace-restaurant food, a “space spa,” and space gym named “Let the calories fly.” Although the “Droid de Lafayette’s” service is of supreme excellence, its complete “experience” is unmatched in any of those found in the homeland, Earth. Therefore, the “Droid de Lafayette” will not only have a significant mark on the future of flight, but also on the advances of mankind and other “kind.”
